2010
Version 5 is now live
2010 is here and we have tons of great news. First off, we finally got around to re-designing the site and moving it from Media Temple to EngineHosting and we are super happy with the increase in stability and support. We are also very happy to partner up with the team at EngineHosting and highly recommend them for your hosting needs. we also converted the entire site to our favourite CMS ExpressionEngine.
On the design front
Gone is the textured background Hello world of of high contrast, the grid has changed from a 4 column grid to a 7 column grid with 10px gutter that I can trigger through the css.
typography
We also made some big changes to the typography, we decided to switch from Trade Gothic Condensed no.18 to Gotham for the headings, the body copy is set in Helvetica Neue, we also plan on switching to typekit in the near future like we did for the MTL EE group.
Still to come …
We are still working on some of the sections of the site and plan on adding some new features.
